FINALLY Sega annouce one of the most up-and-coming wanted arcade games for a general release for 31st March 2006.
Outrun 2006: Coast to Coast boasts the arcade versions of both Outrun 2 and Outrun SP. For those who haven't been to an arcade within the last year have missed out on a serious Gem of a game. Ferrari Licence will allow 12 of their cars drivable, and with 30 stages from the arcade (Outrun 2 15 and SP 15) It should be plentiful for those who want to tear up the road.
As for the graphics? Sega have never let anyone down in that department, and once again the visuals are to die for.. here (http://www.sega-europe.com/en/MediaPlayer/257___screenshots___5590.htm). Whats more it's available for PC, Xbox, PS2 and PSP. no 360 version though, which worries me!!!
Theres more.. there's an extra mission mode, for extra unlockables (Outrun 2 on the XBox had tracks from Daytona USA 2 and Scud Race, plus the original Outrun) And it is also Net playable. so for a quick blast with ya mates it's gonna be well up.

For those retro fans out there... 3rd February comes Sega Classics Collection. 8 Games fully updated Graphics and Sound includes:
• OutRun
Blaze across the checkpoints in your souped-up racer, branches in the road leading to real tests of your driving skill... which route will you take?
• Golden Axe
Travel back to the Dark Ages and wield powerful magic as a warrior, maiden or dwarf.
• Space Harrier
Teleport to deep space in seconds to battle futuristic monsters and robots with lock-on lasers.
• Columns
Earn big scores by arranging falling jewels in piles of three or more, horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
• Fantasy Zone
Climb aboard your Opa-Opa (ship) and get rich quick as defeated enemies drop coins.
• Monaco GP
You'll leave plenty of tread ripping through these crazy courses. In certain modes, if you cross first, the car is yours.
• Virtua Racing
Grab the wheel and take a trip back into SEGA history in this remake of a true arcade classic.
• Tant R & Bonanza Bros
Play alone or grab three friends to play through 40 mini-games! Clear them all and you'll gain access to the special Bonus Game.
