NO video files will play on my PC that are "large" as it were. for instance I have a handful of files that are say 600mb, that will not play (Wrestling vids) I've tried every codec known to man, downloaded every update and I have just about given up.

AND

Before you ask, yes they do work, they worked on my previous PC

SO

What the heck is up with my PC? Any help is good. ta

and to make matters a little harder, it WILL play DVD's

Try downloading MS Media Bonus Pack - the latest Windows comes with media content removed.

Jumping on this just a little too late but I had exactly the same problem. Couldn't find any solution to it at all other than to uninstall Nero and roll back to an older version...
Still, to be honest, I'm not that bothered because version 7 seems to install about 25 extra apps that I just didn't want anyway.
